I am in the capital for the weekend - more information and pictures to follow but just thought I'd say that there is no forecast that the awful typhoon which has hit in Phillippines is due in Cambodia. The line of Haiyan is for the coast of Vietnam and up into the mountains to the north. Expect we will get some rain though - we've had so much that the Water Festival has been cancelled for the third year running in Phnom Penh. I've seen canoes practicing on the Siem Reap river where it is going ahead next weekend, with three days holiday! Cambodia has the most public holidays that anywhere in the world!
